High
speed connections
The DeviceMaster PRO 8 and 16 ports are Lan Attached programmable
serial device servers housed in metal enclosures. Each unit
has two 10/100 RJ45 Ethernet connections, with either 8 or
16 serial ports. The 16 port units are supplied as RJ45 and
the 8 port units have DB9 connectors. The 8 port unit is supplied
with DB9 to RJ45 converters. All options support software
selectable RS-232, RS-422 and RS-485 serial communications.
A cost effective solution for accessing peripherals located
long distances from the server. These products also have the
benefit of 25KV extended surge protection on the serial ports.
