Introduction

The RocketPort Universal PCI (uPCI) controllers are designed for use in PC's with 3.3 and 5.0 volt 32 Bit PCI bus architectures (PCI & PCI-x), and are available in 4, 8, 16 & 32 port versions. The controllers may also be used in PC's equipped with the 64 Bit 66Mhz PCI bus.

Comtrol offers Quadcable and Octacable solutions, which have RS-232 fan out cables terminated with DB25 Male or DB9 Male connectors. An Octacable version terminated with RJ45 connectors is also available.

Our RocketPort Universal PCI 8 port controller is a low profile/half height controller, so it can be installed in modern low profile PC's equipped with 3.3V PCI bus slots. This product can be used with any of our external interfaces.

The Rocketport uPCI 16 and 32 port controllers are full height controller cards and can again be used with any of our external interfaces.
