Introduction
The RocketPort EXPRESS product family is Comtrol’s next generation multi-port serial comtroller. Products are fully compatible with systems that have 1X, 4X, 8X, and 16X-Lane PCI Express serial expansion slots. The EXPRESS design takes advantage of the increased performance of Comtrol’s exclusive Unity ASIC chip.
These reliable serial cards are low profile and are for use in both standard PCs and low-profile servers.
Our
Quadcable and Octacable products reach serial communication speeds of 921 Kbps and products with an interface communicate at 460 Kbps.
All products support software-selectable RS-232/422/485 serial communication modes.
The product family include 4, 8, 16 and 32 port models.
