Navtech Radar has provided sensor technology for over a decade to many prominent sites in the UK and overseas, specialising in teh field of millimetre wave radar.
Their leading system, NS3-CT Site Security System can provide open area and perimeter security, which can be monitored from a single location / control room.
With the addition of the CCTV cameras, targets can be tracked and viewed without any user interaction.
The NS3-CT processes data from Navtech W500 series surveillance radars, which constantly scan a full 360 degrees across the entire designated area, monitoring stationery and moving targets from 10m up to 500m from each sensor, regardless of weather and light conditions.
When a person or vehicle is detected, an alarm is automatically triggered, and a camera is focused on the target, removing the possiblity of human error.
Navtech chose the DeviceMaster RTS 8 and 16 port units to ensure the flow of serial telemetary from their system was not interrupted at any stage, and to ensure CCTV cameras are reliably and precisely controlled.
The DeviceMaster RTS units are used in many of Navtech’s installations, including the Museum of Islamic Art in Doha, Qatar.
