Operating with a constant rate signal ranging from 1Mbps to 100Mbps, the FlexPoint 100FF is suitable for Ethernet networks and various other fibre-to-fibre protocol applications without requiring manual configuration. Simply connect the fibre cables to the appropriate interface, and your installation is complete.
Featuring fibre ports operating at 850nm, 1310nm, or 1550nm with SC or ST connectors, the FlexPoint 100FF offers versatility tailored to your requirements. Multimode fibre models support distances of up to 5km, while single-mode fibre models extend up to 120km.
LED indicators with clear descriptions on the label facilitate easy in-the-field installation and maintenance, reporting power availability and device detection on the fibre ports.
Mounting options abound, including wall-mounting hardware, DIN-rail brackets, or rack-mounting in a 5-Module shelf or a high-density 14-Module, power-redundant Powered Chassis. Powering the FlexPoint modules is equally versatile, with options for external AC to DC adapters, 5VDC chassis connectors, or external DC power supplies (18-60VDC). In the power-redundant Powered Chassis, modules are powered via the 5VDC chassis connector, providing flexibility as your network evolves.

The FlexPoint 100FF fibre converter can extend the network across single-mode fibre with distances up to 120km. In this application, two 10/100Mbps Ethernet switches are connected utilizing a pair of FlexPoint 100FF fibre converters, which are connected to the switches via a multimode fibre uplink.
