Unmanaged Gigabit PoE Injector
The OmniConverter GPoE+/I is an unmanaged gigabit Ethernet power injector designed to extend Ethernet link distances and add power over data lines.
It features one RJ-45 uplink port and one RJ-45 downlink IEEE 802.3af/at PoE+ port, both supporting 10/100/1000Mbps data rates with the ability to operate at asymmetric rates.
The OmniConverter GPoE+/I offers a cost-effective solution for extending connectivity to remote PoE devices, especially where external power is unavailable or difficult to install, or where replacing copper with fiber is too expensive.
The PoE Injectors automatically negotiate and deliver the appropriate power level required by a connected Powered Device (PD). For non-PoE devices, such as laptops, the injector supplies data only, without power.
OmniConverter PoE Injectors are plug-and-play devices that support auto-negotiation of data rates and duplex modes, allowing for easy in-line installation to extend network distances instantly. This simplifies installation and troubleshooting by ensuring operational links.
The PoE Injector is available as a standalone unit, with or without integrated mounting brackets. It can be DIN-rail mounted using an optional DIN-rail mounting clip kit (8252-0) and is available with either an external 100 to 240VAC power adapter or a 2-Pin DC terminal connector.

Basic PoE Injector Application
