The OmniConverter 10GPoE+/S and 10GPoEBT/S are unmanaged 10G Ethernet media converters designed with a 1/10G SFP/SFP+ uplink port and one or two multi-gigabit/multi-rate RJ-45 Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) user ports. These devices support PoE, PoE+, and PoE++ standards, delivering up to 100 watts of power per port, depending on the model.
Multi-Gigabit / multi-rate speeds of 10Mbps, 100Mbps, 1Gbps, 2.5Gbps, 5Gbps and 10Gbps are supported via the RJ-45 port. The 10GPoE+/S supports IEEE 802.3at (15 and 30W) and IEEE802.3bt (60 and 100W) per port depending on the model.
Along with frame sizes up to 10,240bytes, the OmniConverter 10GPoE+/S and 10GPoEBT/S feature a Small Form Pluggable (SFP) transceiver receptacle port supporting a variety of copper and fibre transceivers. They support 10/100/1000BASE-T, 1000BASE-T, 2.5BASE-T, 5GBASE-T and 10GBASE-T copper transceivers and 1G and 10G multimode or single-mode, dual or single fibre transceivers in standard, CWDM and DWDM wavelengths.
The OmniConverter PoE media converters are designed to meet the power and bandwidth requirements of modern devices such as IP cameras, wireless access points, and small cell equipment. They enable high-speed network extensions over fibre optic cabling while also serving as reliable PoE injectors.
The OmniConverter 10GPoE+/S and 10PoEBT/S units automatically negotiate and deliver the power required by the Powered Device.

Security & Wireless
In this example, the OmniConverter media converters are providing up to 100W of Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) to a CCTV camera, and Wireless Access Point at each location, each of which can be loaded up to 100m from the media converter.
Both the CCTV camera and wireless access points have full bandwidth availability by utilising the 10G fibre uplink port on each of the 10GPoEBT/S media converters
